Livia Firth MBE is co-founder and Creative Director of Eco-Age – the leading consulting and creative agency speciaised in integrated sustainability, and founder of the Green Carpet Challenge (GCC).

She is renowned for creating compelling frameworks and campaigns for environmental and social justice with global reach. A founding member of Annie Lennox’s ‘The Circle’, a powerful women’s advocacy group, she recently presented the findings of The Circle’s Living Wage report to the EU Commission. Livia is a UN Leader of Change and has also been recognised with the UN Fashion 4 Development Award and the Rainforest Alliance Award for Outstanding Achievement in Sustainability. She is a powerful communicator on progressive change; her keynote addresses include to the World Economic Forum.

Paul Adamson is chairman of Forum Europe and Forum Global and founder of Encompass (previously E!Sharp), an online magazine and discussion space dedicated to covering the European Union and Europe’s place in the world.

Paul is a member of the Centre for European Reform’s advisory board and Rand Europe’s Council of Advisors. He is also a Visiting Professor at the Policy Institute, King’s College London, a Senior Adviser at the Atlantic Council’s Future Europe Initiative and a Senior Fellow at the Centre for Britain and Europe at the University of Surrey. He is a patron of the University Association of Contemporary European Studies (UACES) and a Fellow of the UK Academy of Social Sciences.

In 2012, Paul was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) “for services to promoting understanding of the European Union” and in 2016 he was made a Chevalier in the Ordre national du Mérite by the French government.

Paola Migliorini is the Deputy Head of Unit of the Enivornmental Department of the European Commission, with a focus on Sustainable Production, Products and Consumption.

Having held several roles in the European Commission, Paola is recognised for her contributions on Sustainability, Eco-innovation and the Circular Economy.

Prior to her positions within the European Commission, Paola gained extensive experience in the private sector, managing statistical research projects for multinationals in the healthcare industry.

Known for his tenure at two of Paris’ top universities, L’Institut Francais de la Mode (IFM) and Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP) Europe, Pascal Morand  is an accomplished author and academic expert on French fashion as it relates to the global economy and culture. Now the executive president of Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, Morand has injected new energy and modernity into the world’s most important capital for creativity and commerce in fashion. Morand was also previously deputy director general of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Paris region.

Ingun is an ethnologist with an educational background in sewing, weaving and textile chemistry. Since 1999, she has been working with clothing and textiles research at Consumption Research Norway. She has been essential in developing the research field through advancing methods, projects, knowledge and discourse about clothes and their role in society and our lives, including clothing habits, laundry, lifespan, product development and value chains. Ingun actively shares her knowledge in the media, through exhibitions, debates, and popular books and Encyclopedia articles. Ingun has received the Norwegian Research Council’s Award for Excellence in Communication of Science.

Dalena White is the Secretary General of the International Wool Textile Organisation (IWTO).

Dalena is a specialist in clothing and textile design, production, marketing and merchandising, with over 20 years’ experience , she has was appointed Secretary General of the International Wool Textile Organisation (IWTO) in 2016.

The IWTO (International Wool Textile Organisation) is the recognized global authority for standards in the wool industry and has been representing the interests of the global wool textile trade since 1930.  Its membership represents 60% of the total wool textile pipeline.  Its vision is a sustainable, profitable wool industry with a mission to connect all parts of the wool supply chain in order to strengthen wool’s credentials as the world’s leading sustainable fibre.  By facilitating research and development, wool textile education and knowledge sharing, IWTO ensures a sustainable future for wool.
